THE ECO CHANNEL Earth Day Miami: A global rendezvous for the Earth
On Tuesday 22 April 2025, THE ECO CHANNEL will hold its annual 5ᵉ summit, the ECO-Summit, at the prestigious DCOTA building in Dania Beach. This event, sponsored by FPL, UNA Broward and Broward County, is a unique platform in the world to engage with influential leaders, committed investors and environmental advocates.
The programme will include:
Conferences and expert panels on global environmental issues ; Interactive workshops to encourage sustainable practices ; Eco-responsible fashion show featuring recycled creations ; Special performance by the Florida Grand Opera ; A wellness area dedicated to personal and collective recharging.
Support from Mr Gabriel MVOGO and the European Cooperation System
The European Cooperation System, chaired by Gabriel MVOGO, is providing symbolic support for this international event. Mr MVOGO, an ambassador for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), is renowned for his commitment to sustainability and inclusion. In a message to Thomas MICHEL, Chairman of THE ECO CHANNEL, he welcomed the initiative and encouraged efforts towards a greener future.
A unique collaboration to celebrate football and the planet
Thanks to a fruitful agreement between THE ECO CHANNEL and the European Cooperation System, an exceptional moment will mark the event: the official presentation of the Club World Cup – USA 2025 ball carried by President Gabriel MVOGO. This symbolic gesture illustrates the universal values of peace and unity promoted by football.
To mark the occasion, THE ECO CHANNEL is planning to invite a number of high-profile players, including Argentinian international Lionel Messi, 2022 world champion Qatar 2022 and a key figure with Inter Miami. His arrival could mark an unforgettable moment, with the official signing of the ball (subject to confirmation).
A global event, broadcast worldwide
The Earth Day Summit will be broadcast internationally. In 2024, the event enjoyed exceptional visibility, with a 30-minute broadcast on the famous Times Square billboard, reaching millions of viewers.
In addition, Broward County Transit will be actively participating by dressing up several buses to commemorate this special day, reinforcing the message of collective commitment to the planet.
